Joseph Edward Oginski

Joseph Edward Oginski, 78, of Sebring, FL, passed away on February 24, 2025. He was born on February 13, 1947, in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Edward Henry and Mary Teresa Oginski.

Joseph honorably served his country in the U.S. Army before building a career as an engineer with the power plant. He was a man of great knowledge, always eager to share his wisdom. A skilled mechanic, he enjoyed working on cars and had a passion for traveling. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished time spent with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lydia Oginski; his daughters, Maria Oginski of Sebring, FL, Sandra Kurtz (Chris) of Sebring, FL, and Sonja Bonini  (Lurie) of Sebring, FL; his sisters, Arlene Kozy, Michelle Petrella, and Mary Altman, all of Pittsburgh, PA; as well as three beloved grandchildren.

Joseph will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held on March 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, 4001 Sebring Parkway, Sebring, FL.
