Joseph "Joey" Earl McClelland

Joseph Earl McClelland, age 59, of Zolfo Springs, FL, passed away at home on Thursday, July 18, 2019 after a 3-year battle with cancer.  He was born January 20, 1960 in Avon Park, FL to Solomon and Jewel Dean (Oliver) McClelland.  He loved hunting, fishing, and gardening, but above all loved being a cowboy and ranching.  He was a member of the Lorida Baptist Church and has been a lifelong resident of this area.  Survivors include his Wife – Scherry McClelland of Zolfo Springs, FL; Children – Trina Sockalosky (Kyle) of Wauchula, FL; Dustie Harris (Kenny) of Zolfo Springs, FL; Cash McClelland (Nicole) of Avon Park, FL; Lee Carver (Jaime) of Tennessee; Betty Prickett of Lake Placid, FL; Zac Aldridge of Zolfo Springs, FL; Nephew Bubba Kindrick (Kelly) of Zolfo Springs, FL; Brothers – Donald McClelland of Live Oak, FL; Ray McClelland (Julia) of Okeechobee, FL; Billy McClelland (Debbie) of Sebring, FL; Dennis McClelland of Lorida, FL; Doug McClelland (Julie) of Ohio; 13 Grandchildren, plus numerous others that called him “Poppa" and  multiple niece's and nephew's. Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or the Florida Cancer Specialist.
