Joseph Walter Hodge, age 82, of Avon Park, FL passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 in Avon Park, FL. He was born on April 30, 1941 to Edward J. Hodge and Nellie Cox, in Bennettsville, SC. Joseph worked as a mason and loved to fish. He was a gentle and kind person always putting others before himself. He is survived by his Son- Joseph “Shawn” Hodge; Daughter-Cynthia (Cindy) Patterson Hodge (Terry); Sister-Lois Minors: Daughter-in-Law-Heather Hodge. Joseph is preceded in death by Parents-Edward J. Hodge and Nellie Cox; Wife-Nancy Hodge; Daughter-Sue Austin and Son-Timmy Hodge. Joseph touched the lives of many, and will be dearly missed.
