Joseph Biros

Joseph Biros, age 90, passed away on January 8, 2018 in Sebring, Florida.  He was born on February, 28, 1927 to George and Anna (Garanovsky) Biros in Campbell, Ohio.  He had been a resident since 1995 coming from Port St. Lucid, FL and attended St. Catherine Catholic Church.  He was a veteran serving in the Army and the Navy during the Korean War, serving in a MASH unit.  He was very proud of serving his Country.  Joseph was a member of the VFW, Elks, the Military Sea Services Museum in Sebring and the Knights of Columbus.  He was the owner and pharmacist at Guy’s Pharmacy in Hubbard, Ohio.  Joseph enjoyed computers and writing his auto-biography.  Above all, he loved his family.  He is survived by his Wife – Dorothy “Dot” Biros of Sebring, FL; Son – Dr. Ken Biros (Cheryl) of Ohio; Sister – Mary Richley (Victor) of Ohio; close family friends – Betsy and Ruth and God-Child Anna; five Grandchildren and three Great-Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and Daughter – JoAnn Biros.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:30 am at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, FL.  Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870 or The Youth Fund at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 882 Bay St. Sebring, FL  33870.
