Jose Lugo Laboy, age 95, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in Avon Park, Florida. Mr. Laboy was born in Lajas, Puerto Rico to Juan and Asuncion (Laboy) Lugo. He was a Painter, and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1973 coming from San Bernadino, California. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park, Florida. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Avon Park Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Frank Gonzalez officiating. Entombment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
