Jose Ramon Colon

Jose Ramon Colon, age 85, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 23, 2025. He was born on March 18, 1939, in Puerto Rico to Jose Luis Colon, and Julia Flores. For the glory of God, he ministered as pastor for more than fourteen years, and was a lifelong resident of Highlands County, Florida for over twenty-four years. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Teresa Negron and their children Norma E. Colon, Ricardo Colon, Deborah Colon, Abimael Colon, Rebecca Colon, Ruth Lopez, nineteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 7, 2025, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, Florida. The family welcomes friends at 11:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
