Joie Jeanette Mayne, age 89, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 in Sebring, FL. She was born on June 3, 1932 in Williamsburg, KY to Ranzie and Tava (Taylor) Owens. She worked as a telephone repair technician, attended Whispering Pines Baptist Church, and has been a resident of Sebring for more than 30 years, coming from Michigan. Joie enjoyed shopping, she liked to read, and was an avid walker. She is survived by her loving daughter-Cathy Anderson (Richard). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Laymon Lawrence Mayne, and a sister- Edna Steely. Visitation will be held at 12:00 pm until service time at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 7, 2022 at  Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Kinch officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
