John W. Wood

John W. Wood, 95, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012, in Sebring. He was born December 21, 1916, to William B. and Mary (Poff) Wood in Lancaster, Kentucky, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1980, coming from Fredericktown, Ohio. He was a truck driver and attended Grace Church of Sebring. He is survived by his wife, Martha F. "Fern" Wood of Sebring; step-children, Stephen Mann, PA; Thomas Mann, OH and Timothy Mann, OH; grandchildren, Jamie Wood, GA; John Wood; GA; Stephanie Harris, OR and Dean Wood, OR; six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, James Wood, of Synthana, KY; seven brothers and sisters and step-son, Randall Mann of Ohio. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Grace Church of Sebring. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870
