John H. Stoddart, Jr.

John H. Stoddart Jr., 70, of Sebring, FL, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John H. and Joan (Powers) Stoddart on June 7, 1948. He served in Vietnam as a Marine and became a resident of Highlands County in 1981, coming from Ochopee, FL. He enjoyed hunting, reading and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include: wife of 43 years; Chris Stoddart of FL, sons; Josh (Amy) Stoddart of FL and Shane (Jackie) Stoddart of FL, sisters; Cindy (Tom) Earnest of NC, Gwen (Stephen) Manieri of PA, Pam Lezcano of Japan, Allyson (Pete) Mendez of FL and Kim Stoddart of PA and three grandchildren; Jakob Spicer, Jackson Stoddart and CJ Stoddart. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring. Memorial contributions can be made to Moffit Cancer Center www.moffitt.org
