John Bernard Reilly

August 7, 1923 — May 4, 2017

John Bernard Reilly, age 93, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 in Sebring, Florida. He was born August 7, 1923 in Loretto, Pennsylvania to the late Frances and Mary Magdalene (Cox) Reilly. John was a veteran proudly serving with the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Destroyer Escort Sailors Association; American Legion; Shamrock Society of Sebring and the Elks of Lake Placid and he volunteered for the SHARE Program of Sebring. He attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Survivors include his children: John Reilly (Jackie)-Peyton, CO, Mary Reilly-Sebring, FL, Joe Reilly (Thais)-Myersville, MD, Thomas Reilly-Dulles, VA, Margaret Rose Furio -Dallas, TX, Terence Reilly (Deborah)-Millsboro, DE, Ann McGovern (Tommy)-The Villages, FL, eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife: Imelda Patricia (Caton) Reilly and son: Martin Reilly. The family would like to recognize Rosemary Rasmussen, Ernie and Jimmy Daly, and Polly Filer who are longtime friends of our father. We want to send out a warm and heart felt Thank You for all the good times we had whenever a family member visited dad. We enjoyed all the activities with each of you over the years.
