JOHN RAY KINCER John Ray Kincer, 81, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011, in Sebring. He was born July 9, 1930, to Conley Edgar and Delsie (Spangler) Kincer in Cromona, Kentucky, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1989, coming from Roseville, Michigan. He was employed in maintenance by General Motors and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Leyte during the Korean War. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the VFW; Masonic Lodge in Roseville, MI; Shriner and American Legion. He loved watching the Tampa Bay Rays play baseball. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Patricia C. Kincer on March 5, 2011. He is survived by his sisters, Dorothy Garrett; Naida Hardoin; Rita Williams; Marla (Ron) Ocelnik and Tisa (Terry) Cuthbertson; brother, Clyde (Barbara) Kincer and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Leda ONeil and brothers, James Kincer and Conley Kincer. Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, with Rev. Mike Adams officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Shriners Childrens Hospital.
