John "Jack" R. Measner

John “Jack” R. Measner, 62, of Sebring, passed away January 2, 2018. He was born to the late Raymond and Marjorie (Young) Measner on October 19, 1955 in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He has been a resident of Highlands County since 1984 coming from Miami. Jack owned and operated his own plumbing company and was of the Catholic faith. He was a life member of the NRA, enjoyed hunting and feeding the wildlife that came into his backyard. Survivors include: wife; Kathi Measner –FL, son: Jared (Kayla) Measner-FL, and daughter; Jessica Prevatte-FL; along with five grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 9:00 am with the service at 10:00 am at Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 2525 Dranefield Rd. Ste. 4, Lakeland, FL 33811.
