John J Murphy Jr.

John J. Murphy Jr., age 90, passed away on February 27, 2020. He was born in Queens, New York on July 27, 1929 to John and Marie Murphy Sr. He is survived by his children, Mark Murphy and Erin Schneeweiss; grandchildren, Bennett and Lucas Murphy and Caitlyn and Christopher Schneeweiss; sister-in-law, June Coultas; brother-in-law, Curt Booth and son-in-law Fred. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Donovan.

John will be remembered as a man who put his family and his children first who truly loved his wife Marilyn. He loved the New York Giants, the Catholic Church, his time as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy and his summers in his youth on the north shore of Long Island, New York. John Jay Murphy would have been 91 in July
