John Frank McClellan, age 85, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 in Avon Park, FL. He was born on July 19, 1931 in Cadott, WI to the late Frank and Josephine (Felsner) McClellan. John had been a resident of Avon Park, since 1971 having come from Greenville, TN. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea and later worked in hospital administration. John was a member of the Avon Park Seventh Day Adventist Church. He is survived by his wife: Sheryl McClellan of Avon Park, FL; children: Jum McClellan (Janie) of AZ; Judy Ewing (Loren) of SC; Joy Brodley (Bruce) of CA; Brass McClellan of Avon Park, FL; Rosh McClellan of Sebring, FL; Blizz Kuntz (Tim) of TN; Zeah Schlisner (James) of CO; siblings: George McClellan of TN; Ruth Trivett of TN; Dorothy Benson of NC; Joe McClellan of NC; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
