John Patrick Lodge, age 71, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Florida following a short illness. Mr. Lodge was born in Hyde Park, MA to Henry and Anna "Madeline" (Doyle) Lodge and had been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 2006 previously residing in Westwood, MA. He is survived by his beloved wife Madelyn "Lyn" (Barry) Lodge of Avon Park, FL. Loving father of John Lodge, Jr. and his wife Janet of Blackstone, MA , Kevin Lodge of Apopka, FL and Linda Foye and her husband Richard of Stoughton, MA. Dear brother of James Lodge of South Boston, MA, Joseph Lodge of Plymouth, MA , Edward Lodge of Hyde Park, MA and Mary Lodge of Canton, MA. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren-John III, Benjamin, Julia, James, Andrew and Jennifer, along with many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Lodge was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Henry Lodge and his sister Ann Marie Lodge. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Laughlin Nichols Funeral Home, 34 Oak Street, Hyde Park, MA 02136.
