He was a Teacher & Coach at Avon Park High School and Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, served in the U.S. Air Force, and has been a resident since 1976, coming from Ocala, FL. He is survived by his Wife of 57 years - Ann Hunter of Avon Park, FL; Son - John Hunter (Rhonda) of Avon Park, FL; Daughter - Julie Hunter of Avon Park, FL; Sister - Mary Rawlins of Chiefland, FL; 3 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.
