John "Jack" Higgins

John “Jack” Higgins, age 70, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in Sebring, Florida.  He was born February 5, 1951 in Princeton, New Jersey to the late Wilbur and Marguerite (Hagadorn) Higgins.  He had been a resident since 1974 coming from New Jersey, was in the National Guard, a correctional officer, and was a loved local musician.

Jack is survived by his Children – Heidi Yarbrough (Chad) of Sebring, FL; Jack Higgins of Safety Harbor, FL; Step-daughter – Tonya Colquitt (Clayton) of Sebring, FL; Step-son – David Johnson of Sebring, FL; Sister – Kathleen Pae (Gary) of New Jersey; Brothers – Wilbur Higgins, Jr. (Sandy) of New Jersey; Thomas Higgins (Shelly) of Sebring, FL; James Higgins (Maryanne) of Sebring, FL; four Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his Wife – Shirley Higgins.

Family will receive friends Monday, August 23, 2021 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.  Graveside service will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens at 1:30pm.
