John Frazier Box, Jr.

On Sunday, July 21, 2019, John Frazier Box, Jr., loving husband and father passed at the age of 80 in Sebring, Florida surrounded by his family.  He was born on February 24, 1939 in White Springs, Florida to the late John Box Sr. and Sadie Pennell.  He had been a resident for over 40 years coming from northern Florida. John loved fishing, hunting, trucks, southern food (especially his catfish and bream) mowing and spending time with his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and loved cracking jokes no matter who you were just to see you laugh. John is survived by his Wife of 45 years Suzanne Box of Sebring, FL; and his 5 Children, Debbie Boney of Bainbridge, GA; John O Box (Susan) of Sebring, FL; Penny Box of Hawthorne, FL; Michael Foxx (Doreen) of Sebring, FL; James Box (Tiffany) of Sebring, FL. John came from a large loving family, his surviving Siblings are, Herbert Box (Myrna Rae) of Douglas, GA; Ed Box (Polly) of Gainesville, FL; Howard Box (Barbara) of Colorado Springs, CO; Janet Box Carver of Melrose, FL; along with 13 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Keith Box, Mike Suggs, Craig Lamb, and step-mother Tommie M Box.  John’s Memorial service will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 11:00am at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with the family receiving friends beginning at 10:00am.
