Joanne Marie Powell

Joanne Marie Powell, age 80, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013, at her home. She was born May 23, 1933, to Seth and Edith Ida (Maurer) Schall in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1987, coming from Pittsburgh. She was a homemaker, of the Christian faith and enjoyed gardening, bingo, dancing and socializing with her Park friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Harris Nathan Powell; brothers, Seth (Janet) Schall, Jr. and Richard Schall and sister, Debra Schall. She is survived by her children, Bruce Powell of Springfield, Missouri; Connie Powell of Mansfield, Texas and Denise Hodge of Sebring; sisters, Janet (Robert) Miller; Sharon (Paul) Myers and Joyce (Dick) Bussey, all of Pennsylvania; and grandchildren, Scott; Leahann: Jesse; Haley and Kyle.
