Joann Marie Francis

Joann Marie Francis, 87, of Sebring, Florida, passed away on December 26, 2024. Born on July 12, 1937, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Margaret Reiner.

After a lifetime spent in her cherished hometown of Pittsburgh, Joann moved to Sebring in 2019, where she embraced a new chapter of her life. She carried with her the warmth and spirit of her Pittsburgh roots, bringing joy to those around her.

Joann was a devoted wife to her late husband, John Francis, with whom she shared a deep and enduring love. Together, they built a family grounded in love, strength, and faith. She was a proud and loving mother to her children, Karen Rastetter (Jack) and Jack Francis (Lisa), and a treasured grandmother to four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Joann was preceded in death by her two sons, Michael and Stevie Francis, whom she held close in her heart.

A woman of many passions, Joann was an avid reader with a love for novels and magazines. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and found joy in the quiet moments spent sitting by the pool. An enthusiastic football fan, she cheered with unwavering loyalty for her favorite teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Joann will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit, her unwavering devotion to family, and her steadfast faith. She was a woman who approached life with grace and gratitude.
