Joan A. Rowan

Joan A. Rowan, age 87, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013 in Sebring, FL. She was born in Galesburg, Illinois on January 25, 1926 to Vincent and Florence (Swanson) Bogren. She was an Administrative Assistant in banking; Member of the Lutheran Church, where she was active and sang in the choir; she enjoyed reading, sewing and cross stitch; she loved being outdoors and gardening; she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a resident of Sebring since 2007 coming from Jackson, Mississippi. She is survived by her husband of more than 20 years, Charles Rowan, Sebring; daughters, Julie Christburg (Charles), Colorado and Jan Zirulnik, Sebring; grandchildren, Chas, Katie, Zack and Alex.
