Jimmie Lee Clifton, Jr.

JIMMIE LEE CLIFTON, JR. Jimmie Clifton, 67, of Sebring, Florida, passed away January 4, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring. He was born March 30, 1944, to Jimmie Clifton, Sr. of Moore Haven, FL and Millie Altman of Tampa, FL. Jimmie was married to Carrolin (Coleman) Clifton for 50 years and they have two children; daughter Genia (Bobby) Reiss, Lake Placid, FL; son, Jimmy (Mary) Clifton, III, Holcomb, MO; three grandchildren, LaTosha Reiss, Brittany Clifton and Jimmie Clifton, IV; three great-grandchildren, Zyaun, Kingston and Malia; two sisters, Patricia (Al) Rumfelt of Labelle, FL and Linda (Rex) Llewellyn of Aiken, SC; brother, Kenneth McDonald of South Carolina and Best Friends and Vacation Buddies, Beverly and Wilford Stone of Kennett, MO. Jimmie was employed by Evercane Sugar Refinery-Imperial Sugar of Clewiston for 34 years. They retired to Kennett, MO, but returned back to Sebring in 2009. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, jogging and playing chess. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his family. Graveside services are being held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Pinecrest Cemetery in Sebring, with Rex Llewellyn officiating.
