Jerry Windle Long

Jerry Windle Long, age 80, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and loyal friend to so many, went to rest on July 18, 2023. He was born on September 5, 1942 in Nortonville, Kentucky. Jerry embraced his life to the fullest. He was generous, loving, hardworking, and loved his Lord. These qualities shined through during his battle with Leukemia. Jerry worked as a route salesman and retired from Pepsi after 35 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years – Pat Long; son – Brian Long; sister – Cheryl Adkins; daughter in laws – Angie Long and Pam Long. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren – Shelton Long, Payton Long, Megan Long and 2 great-granddaughters – Amelia Delaney and Scarlet Long. He was preceded in death by his parents – Jewel and Nevell Long; son- Michael Long; brothers – Austin and Billy Long; sisters – June Riley and Dean Long. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
