Jerry Stephen Caffey

Jerry Stephen Caffey, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in Tampa, Florida. He was born on June 26, 1945. Jerry was a veteran serving our country with the Army National Guard. He moved to this area in 1999 and was a member of Heartland Christian Church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and quilting.  Cooking on the grill was one of his specialties.  Survivors include his wife: Donna Caffey, mother: Ruth Caffey, children: Lori Robinson (Tony); Jasha Murphy; Cami Galindo (Eric Kietzer) and Eric Oppert (Anna), grandchildren: Kelby Robinson (McKenzie); Paige Robinson; Laken Edwards (Wes); Landri Murphy; Kyle Galindo; Kara Kietzer; Charlie Oppert and Miles Oppert, great-grandchildren: Kanyon Robinson; Karter Robinson and Karson Robinson, sister: Mary Ann Dunham (Lew).  Jerry was preceded in death by his father: Rev. George Madison Caffey and niece, Denise Townsend. There will be a memorial service on Sunday, November 27, 2016, 2:00pm at Heartland Christian Church with Reverend Ted Moore officiating.
