Jerome K McBroom, passed away on May 11, 2024, in Sebring, FL, at the age of 86. He was born on January 30, 1938, in Bulter, IL, to the late William and Velma McBroom. He has been a resident of Sebring since 2001 coming from Tucson, AZ. He is survived by his loving wife, Hazel Marie McBroom, his son Todd McBroom (Robyn) of Boling Brook, IL, his daughter Tracy Watson (Gene) of Valrico, FL, his cherished grandchildren, Samantha Watson, and William Watson (Bailey) and his many treasured nieces and nephews. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Shirley Schmidt, and his brothers, Lency "Ike" McBroom, and Thomas McBroom.

Jerry dedicated his life to service and was a shining example of kindness and generosity. His involvement in various organizations, including the Masons, Lions Club, Toastmasters International, Shriners Club, Care Ministry, and as a hospital volunteer, showcased his commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. Jerry held the role of Transportation Terminal Manager, where his work ethic was unwavering, and his dedication to his profession was evident. He proudly served in the Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis, demonstrating his commitment to his country and his fellow soldiers. His bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

In his free time, Jerry found joy in fishing and golfing. He was an active member of the Shriner fraternity, where he found immense fulfillment in giving back to those in need. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Jerry's commitment to making the world a better place was evident in all aspects of his life, from his military service to his volunteer work in the community. He will be dearly missed, but his legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
