Jeffrey Lloyd Cardis

Jeffrey Lloyd Cardis, age 78, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025.  He was born January 15, 1947 in Lansing, Michigan to Lloyd and Maxine (Kieger) Cardis.  Jeffrey was a 1965 Everett High School graduate, worked as an Inspector for Demmer Tool & Die manufacturing and later sold real estate for 15 years before retiring.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and has been a winter resident of Sebring, Florida since 1986 and permanently since 2012.  Jeff loved gardening, hunting, fishing, swimming, and an avid knife collector.  He is proud of the 5 generations of having a vacation cottage at Holland Lake since 1953.  He is survived by his loving Wife of 55 years – Judy (Malkin) Cardis of Sebring, FL; Sons – Jason Cardis (Holly) of Lowell, MI; Jarrod Cardis (Crystal) of Lowell, MI; 3 Grandchildren – Bradley; Lauren (Darin); Zachary (Jazlynn); 2 Great Grandchildren – Maxwell and Layla.  A memorial service with military honors will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the VFW in Sheridan, Michigan with a celebration of life for family and friends following until 3:00 PM.
