Jeanne Giersch Scribner

Jeanne Giersch Scribner, age 79 passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Mr. and Mrs. John R. Giersch. She worked for Taylor Publishing Company for 29 years before retiring to Florida; she attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, she enjoyed reading, watching television and listening to music and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her children-Steven Scribner of Folsom, California, Sandra Moore (Kirk) of Avon Park, Florida, Jon Scribner (Beverley) of Big Spring, Texas, James Scribner (Sandra) of Douglasville, Georgia, Susan Bilger (Randy) of Arlington, Texas and Karen Dodson (James) of Ackworth, Georgia; brother-Jim Giersch (Judy) of Wisconsin; sister-Doris Smith (Don) of Wisconsin; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles Lewis Scribner, her parents, a son, Charles S. Scribner and a daughter, Janet L. Ewing. Visitation will be held Friday, March 26, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Father Nick McLoughlin officiating.
