Jeanne Marie Griffin Jeanne Marie Griffin April 1945 May 2010 Resident of Sebring, FL passed away in Jacksonville, FL from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Jeanne was born in Collingdale, PA, raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School. She was an interior decorator and co-owner and operator of Griffins Carpet Mart. She was one of six children born to Edward and Elisabeth Kelly and was the beloved wife of John Griffin for over 43 years. Jeanne will be forever remembered by her devoted brothers Ed and wife Gene Kelly, Springfield, PA; Terry Kelly, Naples, FL; Charlie and wife Kathy Kelly, Churchville, PA; and Joe Kelly, Weymouth, MA and loving sister Beth and husband Chuck Riley, Winter Park, FL; beloved daughter Kelly Griffin and fianc Brian Cosgrave, Sebring, FL and sons J.T. Griffin and wife Jean, Orlando, FL; Tom Griffin and wife Kelly, Sebring, FL; Jim Griffin and wife Sherri, Sebring, FL and treasured grandchildren Jack, Mitchell, Meghan, Lindsey, Mason, Sara, Jimmy, Gracie and Zoe along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. Jeanne touched the lives of many people and was well known for her kind and loving spirit. She loved being with her family and friends. She was a member of the Highlands Art League, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and St. Catherine Catholic Church. She was an avid scrap booker and enjoyed making hand-made custom cards. The family will receive family and friends from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring. A Funeral Mass will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Sebring, Father J. Peter Sheehan, Father Jose Gonzalez and Father Gerald Grogan officiating.
