Jean Wendell

JEAN WENDELL Jean Wendell, 84, of Sebring, Florida, passed away June 8, 2010, in Sebring. She was born May 31, 1926, to Alva Eugene and Ethel Mae (Mathews) Woodruff in Freemont, Ohio, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1988, coming from Williamstown, West Virginia. She was co-owner of a Music Store, director of an Accordion Band and taught music all of her life. She played in a dance band and at Fairway Pines she remained very active up until the last few months of her life. She attended St. John United Methodist Church. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her daughters, Mary Lou (Bob) Woodard, Sebring and Peggy Bailey, Sebring; Son, John (Pam) Wendell, Davisville, W.V.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. There are no services being planned. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Hope Hospice, 4840 Sun N Lake Boulevard, Sebring, Fl 33872.
