Jean B. Parker

JEAN B. PARKER Jean B. Parker, 82, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010, in Orlando, FL. She was born August 2, 1927, to David J. and Beatrice (Heffner) Jones in Gordon, Pennsylvania, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1986, coming from Bangor, Maine. She was a Secretary for a Counseling Center; member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Fleet Reserve Association; member of the Military Sea Services Museum and supporter of the Conference on Practical Christianity. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Douglas) Starbird, Pittsfield, ME; sons, Keith Parker, Sebring and Craig Parker; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and a very special person, Jeanette Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ashley S. Parker and son, David Parker. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Military Sea Services Museum, 1402 Roseland Avenue, Sebring, Florida 33870.
