Jean A. Lesniak, age 88, of Sebring, Florida, passed away on January 20, 2025. Born December 18, 1936, in Caspian, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of the late Albert and Antoinette Bianchi.
Jean and her husband, Jerome A. Lesniak, made Sebring their home in 2019 after wintering there since 1997. Jean was a devoted member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and an active participant in the Columbiettes. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she shared her love for the Lord with all who knew her.
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jerome; her children, Daniel Lesniak (Charles Ross) of Chicago, Illinois, and Jeryl Lynn White (Todd) of Michigan; and her cherished grandchildren, Lauren, Devin, and Rachel. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Evelyn Owsianny, and her brother Bill Bianchi.
A dedicated homemaker and talented cook, Jean took great joy in preparing meals for her family. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, filled with love and the aroma of home-cooked meals. Her sense of humor was a gift that brightened the lives of those around her, and her faithful and compassionate spirit will be deeply missed. Jean will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her devotion to her family, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring with the visitation to precede the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
