Jean L. Green

Jean L. Green, age 68, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012. She was born August 16, 1943 to Ernest and Margaret (Rogers) Andrews in Smithville Flats, New York. She was a Secretary in Customer Service, member of Florida Avenue Baptist Church, and has been a resident of Highlands County since 1962, coming from Oxford, New York. She is survived by her husband William M. Green, II of Sebring, FL; daughters Penny Culp (Guy) of Sebring, FL and Dawn Lamarre (Shane) of Sebring, FL; Sons Edwin Skeeter Cooper of Avon Park, FL and Brian Green (Jennifer) of Odessa, FL; Sister Alice Hoyt of New York; Brothers Paul Andrews of Arkansas, Earl Andrews of Oregon, and Leon Andrews of New York; Grandchildren Heather, Shannan, Tyler, Matthew, Jacob, Kiera and Logan; Great Grandchild Chance. She was also Grandmama to Christy, Jayden, Briley, Trish and Connor. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brother Amos, and her first Husband Donald Cooper. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, Florida with Rev. John Girdley officiating. Family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM prior of the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Florida Avenue Baptist Church Childrens Fund.
