Janice Faye Montgomery

Janice Faye Montgomery, age 81, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, in Sebring, Florida. She was born on September 10, 1942, in Jasper, Alabama, daughter of Lewis and Marguerite (Furguson) Posey.  Janice worked as an Elementary Teacher.  She has been a resident of Sebring, Florida since 2016, coming from Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Janice is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Montgomery. She is also survived by her children, Tony Pangle of Sebring, Florida, and Connie Calhoon (Lee) of Tennessee, as well as a cherished grandchild who brought immeasurable joy into her life.

Janice was a devoted member of the First Alliance Church.  As a former teacher, Janice dedicated her career to shaping young minds and fostering a love of learning in her students. Her impact extended far beyond the classroom, leaving a lasting impression on the lives of those she touched.

May she rest in peace, knowing that her legacy of love lives on in the hearts of those she cherished.
