Janet L. Walters

Janet L. Walters, age 54, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. She was born to Harold Ray and Deloris (Greer) Walters on April 17, 1961 in Wabash County, Indiana. Janet moved to Sebring in May of 1981 and worked at SunTrust Bank and then at Highlands Independent Bank as a Loan Processor. She was very active at First Baptist Church of Avon Park and then later at Bethany Baptist Church where she was in charge of the sound and media ministry. She was a wonderful and sweet person who touched many lives with her sweet and special spirit. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Janet is survived by her mother, Deloris Walters-IN; siblings, Joyce Walters, Jeff Walters (Julie), Jenny Taylor (Tim), Jack Walters (Tina) all of IN and many nieces and nephews. There will be a funeral service on Monday, October 12, 2015, 11:00am at Liberty Mills Church of the Brethren in Liberty Mills, IN. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, October 17, 2015, 10:00am, at First Baptist Church in Avon Park, FL.
