She is survived by her devoted husband, George C. Vansickle; her loving children, Kent E Vansickle of Indianapolis, IN, and Darrin C Vansickle, and his wife, Franziska of Huntington Beach, CA; and her cherished grandchildren, Samantha and Danielle, who brought immense joy to her life.

Janet was a woman of many talents and passions. She was an avid reader, who found solace and adventure in the pages of books. She had a deep love for golf and was an active member of several golf leagues. Her competitive spirit shone brightly on the golf course, where she won the club champion title and proudly hit a hole in one—a moment she cherished dearly. Beyond her love for golf, Janet was a gifted cook who relished preparing meals for her family. Her beef stroganoff and corned beef dishes were family favorites, often requested at gatherings. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and nourishment, reflecting her caring and loving nature.

Janet's personality was defined by her compassion, generosity, and competitive spirit. She was a dedicated and talented individual who touched the lives of everyone she met. Her thoughtful and devoted nature made her a beloved wife and a caring, loving mother.
