Janet Marie Robbins, aged 87, passed away on April 18 th , 2020. She was a resident of Winter Haven, moving to Florida in 1992 from Indianapolis, Indiana. Janet was born January 22 nd , 1933 to Richard Kent Dorman and Gladys Mae (Zook) Dorman. Janet earned her BA and Master’s Degrees from Butler University majoring in Elementary Education. She was a teacher, an avid reader, and loved to dance. She enjoyed arts and crafts, especially with her grandchildren. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Indianapolis. Janet is survived by her children – Brenda Lynn (Robbins) Smith of Clermont, FL, and Gregory H. (Dottie) Robbins of Greensburg, IN. She has 7 grandchildren (Camille, Curie, Christina, Kara, Kristen, Kyle, Kane) and 9 great grandchildren (Lily, Laric, Cooper, Colby, Chance, Avery, Jackson, Kirkland, Lincoln). She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Lee Robbins.
