Janet French

Janet French, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on October 23, 2017 in Sebring, Florida at the age of 77.  She was born on October 19, 1940 in Providence, Rhode Island.  Janet moved to Sebring in 2005 from Smithfield, Rhode Island and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park, Florida.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, summers on Martha’s Vineyard and was an active member of the Tanglewood Community in Sebring. Survivors include her husband: Harold N. French of Sebring, FL; Son: Nelson French (Lisa) of Connecticut; Daughter: Susan Glab (Keith) of Illinois; Brother: Gerald Blinkhorn (Emily) of Rhode Island; sister: Jacqueline St. Onge of New Jersey; Grandchildren: Evan, Hunter, KJ and Ellie; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Ernest Blinkhorn and Jannette Levesque and sister: Paula Lewis.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park.  A Graveside Service will take place November 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.  at the Rhode Island Veteran Cemetery in Exeter, RI.  Memorial Donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL  33870. www.chaptershealth.org
