Janet L. Brooker

Janet L. Brooker, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in Tampa, Florida. She was born on March 28, 1941 in Marietta, Ohio to the late Robert Arthur and Wonema Hope (Connolly) Becker. Janet began her career as a teacher, and then left teaching to raise her children. After a few years, she returned to school to obtain her license as a Medical Technologist. She worked in the medical field until she was unable to work due to health issues. She moved to this area with her dear husband in 2005 and was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.  Janet is survived by her husband: Ambrose Brooker-Sebring, FL; two daughters: Pamela Sue (Michael Robert Jones) Brooker-Madison, AL; Sharon Brooker-Reston VA, and one grandson: Owen Ambrose Brooker.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Sebring, FL.
