Jamie Brundage Tatum

Jamie Brundage Tatum, 74, of Lake Placid, FL, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025. She was born on September 18, 1950, in Miami, FL, to the late James and Bernice Brundage.

A resident of Lake Placid for over 35 years, Jamie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She found joy in caring for others, especially as a daycare teacher, where she nurtured countless children with love and kindness. Her deep affection for children extended most of all to her beloved grandchildren, whom she cherished dearly.

Jamie was a woman of faith and a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Placid. She found peace in nature, tending to her plants and feeding the birds in her yard, especially the cardinals she so adored.

She is survived by her loving husband, Llyod Tatum; her children, Lisa Jean Green of Lake Placid and Justin James Tatum of Florida; her brother, David Brundage; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Jamie’s warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
