James William Thompson

James William Thompson, age 70, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024.  He was born February 3, 1954 in Avon Park, FL to Bill and Kylene (Williams) Thompson.  James worked as a Technician for Xfinity, attended First Baptist Church of Avon Park, and has been a lifelong resident of Avon Park, FL.  He is survived by his Wife – Debbie Thompson of Avon Park, FL; Son – Jamie Thompson (Tina) of Avon Park, FL; Sister – Fran Thompson Howard of Avon Park, FL; 4 Grandchildren – Kyle, Weston, Olivia, J.D.; 1 Great Grandson – Levi; many Nieces, Nephews, Extended Family and Friends.  He was preceded in death by his Son - Jared Thompson and Brother - John Thompson. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM with family receiving friends beginning at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Avon Park.
