James R. Stansbury

James R. Stansbury, age 76, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring, Florida. He was born on December 26, 1939 in Albany, Indiana to the late James E. and Dorothea (Bowden) Stansbury. He spent his career as a Systems Analyst Supervisor with Northern Illinois Gas Company in Aurora, Illinois, retiring after 36 years of service. Jim moved to Sebring in 2010 from Oswego, Illinois and attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. He ran the Monday Stansbury Golf Group at Sun N Lake golf club. He and his wife loved to travel.  Jim was the kind of man who just loved life itself.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.  Survivors include his wife, Sharon Morse Stansbury of Sebring, FL; children Brian Stansbury of Sebring, FL and Brenton Stansbury of Denver, CO; sister, Ruthann Klaiss of Genoa, IL and sister-in-law, Debbie Stansbury of Fort Wayne, IN.
