James Jay Shull

James Jay Shull, 79, died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 with his loving wife and friends by his side.  “Jim” was born in Carmel, Indiana on March 3rd, 1946, to Keith and Mary Nell Shull, He and his wife, Nancy Wells, moved to Sebring, Florida in 2021, in search for warmer weather.  Jim’s career was his passion. He managed his auditing business, Jim Shull &, Co., for 35 years and even kept a few clients after retiring to Florida. But before auditing credit unions, Jim joined the United States Army and served in Special Forces. He served two tours in Vietnam. Jim was also a Scout Master for The Boy Scouts of America for 20 years. He was proud to serve his country and his fellow man.  Jim is survived by his wife, Nancy and his son, Andrew. Jim is also survived by grandchildren Bailey and Megan, and great grandchildren Hazel and Aria. In Lieu of flowers Donations may be made to The Humane Society of Highlands County. A Memorial Service will be held on Jan 10, 2026 at 1 pm at the Sebring Village Club house.
