James Roy Smith

James Roy Smith, age 65, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 in Avon Park, FL. He was born on April 26, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA to Charles Ray and Ulysisi (Heastings) Smith. James had been a resident of Avon Park since 1995, having come from New Orleans, LA. He worked as a Chef, attended the Community Bible Church, was an avid reader, and enjoyed taking care of his parents in their last years. James is survived by his sister: Kathy (Howard) Hardwick of Avon Park, FL; brothers: Robert Ray (Margaret) Smith of Miami, FL; John C. (Sharon) Smith of Georgia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
