James Roger Prinkey

James Roger Prinkey, age 80 passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 in Avon Park, Florida. He was born in Normalville, Pennsylvania on December 15, 1932 to Carl K. and Marie (Miller) Prinkey. He was a press operator, member of Mapletown Square Dance Club and Hubs Square Dance Club; he had been a resident of Avon Park, Florida since 2003 coming from Middlefield, Ohio. He is survived by his wife-Carol Prinkey of Avon Park, Florida; children-Roger Prinkey (Bobbi) of Newbury, Ohio, David Prinkey (Jodel) of Wayland, Ohio, Carl Prinkey (Joyce) of Burton, Ohio, James Prinkey (Lisa) of Farmington, Ohio, Sally Francisco (Gary) of Winter Haven, Florida, Barbara Prinkey of Chardon, Ohio, Debra Taylor (Leonard) of Southington, Ohio, Christine Prinkey of Farmington, Ohio and Darlene Slusher (Rick) of Bristolville, Ohio; step-son-Edward Fishel of Parkman, Ohio; brother-Larry Prinkey of Texas; sisters-Marie Howell of Tennessee and Gwen Phillips of Virginia; 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Prinkey was preceded in death by his first wife-Sally and two brothers-William and Carlton. Arrangements were entrusted to the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park, Florida.
