James P Patton

James P. Patton, age 78, passed away March 3, 2014, in Sebring, Fl. He was born March 8, 1935, in Miami, FL to the late John and Norma (Murdoff) Patton. He was a member of Crewsville Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, collecting toys and guns. He loved watching Nascar racing and his six dogs. He is survived by his six daughters: Chris Stoddart (Jack), Sebring, FL; Sara Peters (David), Sebring FL; Ellen Harmon (Lynn), Sebring, FL; Missy Sands (Mike), Homestead, FL; Pam Collier, Sebring, FL; Candace Payne (Kelsey), Sebring FL; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Elsie Faye Patton; one daughter: Melanie Johnson; two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be Saturday March 8, 2014 at 2:00pm at Crewsville Baptist Church in Zolfo Springs, FL. Burial to take place immediately following service at Crewsville Baptist Church Cemetery. Refreshments will be served at his home at the end of services.
