James Corey McKinney, age 34, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 in Avon Park, Florida. He was born January 6, 1987 at Walker Memorial in Avon Park, FL. Corey’s passion was music. He could pick up a guitar and in a split second learn how to play any song at your request. He loved everyone unconditionally and everyone equally loved him the same. He loved to make people laugh even if it was at his own expense. Corey is survived by his Parents – Larry and Elaine McKinney; Son – Jaden Stone McKinney; Sister – Casey Kopta (Dustin); Brothers – Shawn McKinney (Christina); Cale McKinney; Grandmother – Wilma Smith.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 12:00 P.M at Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church, with a private family view at 10:00 A.M. and visitation at 11:00 A.M.
