James Joseph Mazzola

James Joseph Mazzola, age 84, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on September 5, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to the late James and Francis (Galatioto) Mazzola. James spent his career as a Design Engineer in the automotive industry and played professional baseball.  He moved to Sebring in 2004 from Boynton Beach, FL and was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.  Golfing was one of his favorite past-times.  Survivors include his wife Margaret Mazzola, children: James Mazzola, III; Michael Mazzola; Lisa Otto; Karen Dawson and Randal Mazzola, eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  There will be a memorial mass on Monday, November 30, 2015 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Father Jose Gonzalez officiating.    Services entrusted to: Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home 4001 Sebring Parkway Sebring, FL 33870 Online condolences may be left at: www.stephensonnelsonfh.com
