James Kennedy

James Kennedy, age 80, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 in Sebring, Florida. He was born November 27, 1935 in Fairhope, Pennsylvania to the late James H. and Florence (Perry) Kennedy.  James was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army and spent his career in the Automotive Industry.  Hobbies included fixing up old cars, riding motorcycles, fishing, dancing and doing handyman jobs.  James was a member of the VFW Post #4300 and Moose Lodge #2259.  He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.  Survivors include his wife, Judith (Bowers) Kennedy of Sebring, FL, children: James M. Kennedy (Kelly)-Sebring, FL; Shawnee Corey (Paul)-Canonsburg, PA; Jeanne E. Kennedy-Salem, OH; Debbie Leonard (Randy)-Salem, OH; Lorna Kellar (Chuck)-Sebring, FL; Beverly May (Dewey)-Salem, OH; Michael Hill-Radcliff, KY; Mark Hill-Salem, OH, sisters, Florence Stansell- Columbus, OH and Eileen Vahaly-PA, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  There will be a funeral service on Friday, October 28, 2016, 11:00 am, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with W. Mike Adams officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am.  Burial will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL.
