James G. Joyner, 84, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, in Sebring. He was born November 12, 1928, to Floyd E. and Lillian Mae (Gardner) Joyner, in Huntingdon, Tennessee and had been a resident of Sebring since 2004, coming from Ft. Myers, Florida. He was employed in the field of education as a School Administrator, owned a landscaping and nursery in Huntington, Tennessee and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He loved playing golf and football and loved all sports, but his family was always first. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Joyner of Sebring; daughter, Judy and Earl Stokes, Prattville, AL; sons, Bob and Patty Joyner, Longwood, FL; Joe and Susan Joyner, St. Augustine, FL; Mike and Bonnie Joyner, Ft. Myers, FL and Donny and Sherrie Joyner, Milan, TN; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Avon Park, FL, with Father Nicholas McLoughlin officiating.
