JAMES WILLIAM JACKSON James William Jackson, age 66, a resident of Avon Park , Florida, passed away on Wednesday, September, 18, 2013 in Sebring, Florida. He was born in Noblesville, Indiana on August 16, 1947 to James Franklin and Mary (Dever) Jackson. He was retired from the U.S. Army as a Sergeant, serving three tours of duty in Viet Nam. He was of the Protestant Faith, and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He had been a resident of Avon Park since 1995 coming from Noblesville. He is survived by his son, James Paul (Renee) Jackson of Westfield, Indiana; his daughter, Dion Jackson of Indianapolis, Indiana; Brothers, Dennis Jackson of Avon Park, FL and Robert (Kim) Jackson of Frostproof, FL; and 4 grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
